Abstract

A fluid injection assembly (100) for a combustion engine is specified. It comprises an injector body (102) having a notch (108), an injector cup (103), which radially encloses an axial end of the injector body (102) and has a projecting part (111), and a spring clip (104) which is arranged between the injector body (102) and the injector cup (103). The spring clip comprises a ground plate (105), at least one spring element (106), and at least one holding element (109) engaging behind the projecting part (111) of the injector cup (103). The ground plate (105) is arranged in the notch (108) of the injector body (102). The injector body (102) and the injector cup (103) are coupled together by the spring clip (104) by means of mechanical interaction via the projecting part (111) and the notch (108), respectively.
