Abstract

A recording apparatus includes: a recording head that records on a recording medium; a transportation element that transports the recording medium that is peelably stuck on an adhesive surface; and a cooling section that cools the adhesive surface on a further downstream side than the recording head, in a transportation direction of the recording medium. The cooling section is a blower. The cooling section is provided with the blower applying wind to the recording medium on a further upstream side than a peeling portion in the transportation direction.
