Abstract

The present invention provides a system (100) for scheduling a service event in a network. The system comprises a scheduling subsystem (120) for scheduling the service event by selecting devices (210-214) from a group, a monitoring subsystem (140) for identifying those devices which did not successfully register with a registration subsystem of the network, and an analysis subsystem (160) for determining selection criteria (162) for identifying further devices which are expected to fail registration based on said devices having failed registration. By providing the selection criteria (162) to the scheduling subsystem, the scheduling subsystem is enabled to adjust the scheduling based on the selection criteria, e.g., to avoid selecting the further devices in a further scheduling.
