Abstract
The invention provides a composition for a new mineral binder for use in the production of wood-based panels and a process for manufacturing thereof. Further provided are the use of the mineral binder composition in the resination of wooden lamella, veneers, strands, particles, powders and fibers and the subsequent manufacturing process of wood-based panels as well as wood-based panels, such as particle boards (PB), oriented strand boards (OSB), medium density fiberboards (MDF) and high density fiberboards (HDF) comprising the mineral binder of the invention.
