Abstract
A gas turbine health monitoring fuel system including a fuel splitter (408), a first (418) and second (430) fuel nozzle, a first (414) and second (426) fuel pump, and a common drive (436) coupled to the first and second fuel pumps. The first (414) and second (426) fuel pumps are downstream from the fuel splitter. The first fuel nozzle (418) is fluidly coupled to the first fuel pump (414) by a first fuel stream (410). The second fuel nozzle (430) is fluidly coupled to the second fuel pump (426) by a second fuel stream (424). The common drive (436) is configured to drive the first (414) and second (426) fuel pumps at a same speed. The controller system is configured to determine a first fuel pressure in the first fuel stream, determine a second fuel pressure in the second fuel stream, and identify a difference between the first and second fuel pressures.
