Abstract

A system and method for presenting media data to communication clients (11, 12) in the course of a communication data exchange (31, 32) in a telecommunication network (13). The system (10) comprises a storage engine (14), storing a plurality of media data files (15, 16, 17); an application control server (18), arranged for receiving media data file selection signals from at least one of the communication clients (11, 12) in the course of the communication data exchange, and for selecting media data files (15, 16, 17) from the storage engine (14); and a communication processing server (25), arranged for exchanging (24; 31, 32) media data with the communication clients (11, 12) and for retrieving (27) selected media data files from the storage engine (14), for simultaneously presenting retrieved media data files at the communication clients (11, 12).
