Abstract
A system (301) and method to detect particles in a fluid stream. The system (301) includes a separator (303, 503) configured to separate particles from bubbles passing through the fluid stream and a sensor (307, 407) configured to detect the particles. The method includes passing the fluid stream through the separator (303, 503), separating the particles from bubbles passing through the fluid stream, and detecting the presence of the particles.
