Abstract

An aircraft door arrangement (32) comprises an access opening (36) in an aircraft fuselage, at least a section of a door frame (33) arranged in the access opening (36), an aircraft door, a cover plate (40) extending from an outer edge of the aircraft door in an outward direction and adapted for extending onto an outer edge of the access opening (36) when the aircraft door (42) closes the access opening (36), and at least one intermediate part (34) located in at least one of an inner edge region and an outer edge region of the access opening (36) for inducing a force onto the cover plate (40) directed away from the door frame (33) and adapted for reducing at least one of a flutter tendency of the cover plate (40) and amplification of noise in a hollow space between the cover plate (40), the door frame (33) and the aircraft door (42), when the aircraft door (42) is closed. The cover plate (40) of such an aircraft door arrangement (32) comprises a clearly reduced flutter tendency.
