Abstract

In a communication system including a first apparatus (100) and a second apparatus (101), the first apparatus transmits to the second apparatus a signal that requests information for connecting to a network. Then, in response to receiving the signal from the first apparatus, the second apparatus determines (S604) whether or not another apparatus connectable to the network is present within a communicable range of the second apparatus, and when determining that the other apparatus is present in the communicable range, the second apparatus notifies (S605) information for connecting to the other apparatus to the first apparatus. The first apparatus receives (S405) from the second apparatus the information for connecting to the other apparatus, and connects (S406) to the other apparatus and to the network, based on the information.
