Abstract

An artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) system that includes an elastic tube (102) to be wrapped around a urethra and having at least one connector (104). The elastic tube has a first end (102a) to receive and dispatch fluid and a second end (102b) to be connected to the at least one connector. The elastic tube receives and dispatches the fluid to expand and contract the elastic tube and to coapt the urethra for continence and open the urethra for voiding.
