Abstract

Laser pointing system (100) for monitoring the stability of civil structures and historic buildings characterized by the fact of comprising: - two or more devices (101), located at a single point of a structure, which emit laser beams, called laser emitters, towards their respective targets of two or more photoameras or cameras (102, 103) that have been installed in distance from the structure and in their predetermined positions; - processing means for each camera, used for processing the acquired images, for the detection and storage of coordinates of the laser beam detected in each image; - an electronic control unit which, through the means of communication acquires the above coordinates acquired from each of the above photocameras or cameras and, through processing means, it applies a formula to determine the displacements corresponding to parts of structures, such as buildings, roads, tunnels and viaducts.
