Abstract

An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate (100); first electrodes (210) arranged on the substrate (100) at separate positions; a second electrode (250) disposed on the first electrodes (210) to face the first electrodes (210); an intermediate layer (230) disposed between the first electrodes (210) and the second electrode (250) and including an emission layer; a first encapsulating layer (310) disposed on the second electrode (250) wherein at least a portion of the first encapsulating layer (310) is patterned to have a plurality of islands, the first encapsulating layer (310) including an organic material; and a second encapsulating layer (320) covering the islands of the first encapsulating layer (310) and including an inorganic material.
