Abstract
A user interface actuator for a pilot-by-wire system comprises a rotary electric motor (8) having an output shaft (12; 3) suitable to be connected to a rotating user interface (2), a first absolute angular sensor (10; 11) for detecting in direct drive the number of revolutions of the shaft (12; 3) and a second absolute angular sensor (11; 10) redundant with respect to the first absolute angular sensor (10; 11) .
