Abstract

Water soluble pouch (1) comprising: (i) a first film (6); (ii) a second film (7) overlapping with the first film (6); (iii) a seam (8) in which the first film (6) is joined to the second film (7); and the seam (8) comprising a first closed path (16) within which space between the first film (6) and the second film (7) defines a first chamber (4) for holding product (3); and the seam (8) comprising a second closed path (17) within which space between the first film (6) and the second film (7) defines a second chamber (5) for holding product (3); the seam (8) comprises a weakened line (13); and the thickness of the weakened line (13) is less than the thickness of each of the first film (6) and the second film (7) combined so that the weakened line (13) dissolves first when in contact with water, separating the first chamber (4) from the second chamber.
