Abstract

An display device includes: a display panel that displays an image; a gate driver that supplies a gate signal to the display panel; a data driver that supplies a data signal to the display panel; and a power supply unit that generates and outputs a voltage to supply to the gate driver and the data driver, wherein the power supply unit has a dummy switching period in which a switching signal that generates a gate high voltage is maintained for a predetermined time even after an input voltage input from the outside is dropped to Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) or less due to power off.
