Abstract

A device for connecting and downloading of data traffic from cellular networks to wireless networks, which has the peculiarity of comprising a first wireless interface (WI) which connects at least a home wireless network (HWN) to which home users (HU) and home devices may connect, a second wireless interface (WI) which connects at least a public wireless network (PWN) to which external users (EU) and devices external to the environment served by home wireless network (HWN) may connect, at least a WAN connection interface (WAI) connected to a WAN shared access system, an management interface (MGI) which provides management and control functions, as well as a switching matrix (SM) by means of which the traffic - from at least one between the first and/or the second interface (WI), the home (HWN) and/or public network (PWN) and the management interface (MGI) - is suitable to be allocated and separated into physical channels and/or logic channels differentiated according to data traffic origin. The traffic is also configured in bandwidth portions bidirectionally assigned to physical and/or logic channels compared to the interface capability to connect to a WAN shared access system.
