Abstract

A nacelle (212) is provided comprising, a thrust reverser (216) comprising a translating sleeve (208; 604) configured to translate between a stowed position and a deployed position, the translating sleeve (208; 604) comprising a slat cutout (210; 610) for clearance, and a slat clearance door (204; 602) disposed at least partially in the slat cutout (210; 610) in response to the thrust reverser (216) being in the stowed position, wherein the slat clearance door (204; 602) is configured to move in response to the thrust reverser (216) being in the deployed position to expose a portion of the slat cutout (210; 610) to accept a portion of a deployed forward wing slat (206; 606).
