Abstract
A platen (9) includes: a supporting portion (14) that can support a sheet; a suction unit (18) that sucks the sheet in such a manner as to attach the sheet to the supporting portion; a first ink receiver (31A) that receives ink ejected downstream of the leading end of the sheet passing the supporting portion; and a second ink receiver (31B) that receives ink ejected upstream of the trailing end of the sheet passing the supporting portion.
