Abstract

A spinning machine (1) includes a drafting device (7), an air spinning device (9), a yarn accumulating device (22), a winding device (26), and a movement section (80). The winding device (26) includes a winding drum (53) and a cradle (52). The winding drum (53) rotates while being in contact with a winding bobbin (51) or a package (P). The cradle (52) is arranged at a higher level than the drafting device (7) and the air spinning device (9) in a height direction during a winding operation, and rotatably supports the winding bobbin (51). The movement section (80) moves a bobbin supporting section (11) from an upward position in the height direction with respect to the winding drum (53) to a downward position on an operator's working passage side.
