Abstract
Anti-rotation knife edge seals (200) and gas turbine engines (120) including the same are provided. The anti-rotation knife-edge seal (200) includes a first end portion (206) having at least one knife edge (216), an opposing second end portion (208) including an outside peripheral edge (222) having a nut anti-rotation feature (226) and an inside peripheral edge (224) having a shaft anti-rotation feature (228), and an intermediate portion (210) extending between the first end portion (206) and the opposing second end portion (208). The first end portion (206), the opposing second end portion (208), and the intermediate portion (210) form a one-piece annular seal member (211). A method is also provided for substantially preventing rotation of a stack nut (202) against an adjacent rotatable component (204).
