Abstract
A heat shield (202) comprising a sidewall portion (204), a top portion (203), and a plurality of flexible tabs (206; 307, 308) attached to the sidewall portion (204) is described herein, in accordance with various embodiments. The top portion (203) may comprise an aperture (316). The sidewall portion (204) may extend at an angle between 80 degrees and 100 degrees from the top portion (203). The sidewall portion (204) may bound a hexagonal void. The flexible tab (206; 307, 308) may comprise an angle between 80 degrees and 100 degrees. The flexible tab (206; 307, 308) may be fixed to the sidewall portion (204), wherein the flexible tab (206; 307, 308) is configured to be attached to a fitting (212).
