Abstract

There are provided a liquid ejecting device (18) that can efficiently supply liquid inside a liquid containing unit(20) with a simple structure and the liquid containing unit (20). The present invention is the liquid ejecting device(18) which includes a liquid container (12), a head (1) that is provided on a carriage (17) and has a liquid containing unit (20) capable of storing liquid thereinside and a liquid ejecting unit(2), and a flexible member(7) that connects the liquid container (12) to the liquid containing unit (20) and supplies the liquid stored inside the liquid container (12) to the liquid containing unit (20). A holding member (5) is arranged inside the liquid containing unit(20) to hold the liquid, and the shortest distance between a supply port (21) opened to an inside of the liquid containing unit (20) and the holding member is 0.1 mm or more and 5.0 mm or less.
