Abstract
A valve block (38) includes: a valve configured to be capable of opening and closing in accordance with a periodic change of a pressure of a working chamber (24) of a fluid machine; a valve casing (44) accommodating the valve; a valve-block body (40) having a hole for receiving the valve casing (44); and a fastening part (70) to fasten the valve casing (44) received in the hole to the valve-block body (40). The valve casing (44) includes a flange portion disposed so as to protrude outward in a radial direction of the hole. The valve-block body (40) includes a contact surface in contact with a surface of the flange portion closer to the working chamber (24). The fastening part (70) fastens the valve casing (44) to the valve-block body (40) by applying an axial force along an axial direction of the hole to the contact surface via the flange portion. The contact surface of the valve-block body (40) is disposed closer to the working chamber (24) in the axial direction than an outer surface of the valve-block body (40) at an outer circumferential edge of the hole.
