An apparatus comprising: a detector configured to detect electromagnetic radiation where the detector comprises a first portion and a second portion; a deformable substrate configured to support the detector such that the first portion of detector is moveable relative to the second portion of the detector; and a sensor configured to detect deformation of the substrate and provide information indicative of the detected deformation to image processing circuitry.
