Abstract
A static component for a gas turbine engine (20) includes an axially extending body comprising a forward end (88) and an aft end (90) disposed axially downstream from the forward end (88). A rib (98) is formed on at least one of the forward end (88) and the aft end (90) of the axially extending body and extending axially from the axially extending body. A recess (100) is formed in the rib (98).
