Abstract

An operation device (1) includes a supporting member (10) having a cross-shaped guide recess (15), and a movably operated member (30) having a pin (38). The pin (38) moves in the guide recess (15). Hence, the guide recess (15) restricts the movably operated member (30) to be movable only in the X direction and in the Y direction. The movably operated member (30) includes a projection (35) extending obliquely with respect to the X direction and to the Y direction. The pin (38) is provided integrally with the projection (35). When a large force is applied from the guide recess (15) to the pin (38), the projection (35) deforms. Hence, the energy acting on the pin (38) is dispersed.
