Abstract

According to one approach, a battery (30) is provided. The battery (30) includes one or more electrode stack (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D). The one or more electrode stack (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) includes an electrolyte layer (7), a first electrode layer (4), and a second electrode layer (5). The electrolyte layer includes an electrolyte and a carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt. The first electrode layer (4) includes a first active material and a carboxymethylcellulose ammonium salt. The second electrode layer (5) includes a second active material and a first binder soluble in an organic solvent. The first electrode layer (4) is bound to a first surface of the electrolyte layer (7). The second electrode layer (5) is bound to a second surface of the electrolyte layer (7) on a reverse side to the first surface.
