Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to a rotor blade 100 for a gas turbine engine 10. The rotor blade 100 includes an airfoil 126, a tip shroud 128 having a side surface 146, 148 and a radially outer surface 142, and a transition portion 150 coupling the tip shroud 128 to the airfoil 126. The airfoil 126, the transition portion 150, and the tip shroud 128 collectively define a primary cooling passage 152A, 152B therein. The primary cooling passage 152A, 152B includes a primary cooling passage outlet 154A, 154B defined by the side surface 146, 148 of the tip shroud 128.
