Abstract

Distributed temperature measurements. A comfort unit (2 - 5) for installation in a structure (1), the comfort unit (2 - 5) comprising a sensor module (15; 20) selected from a clock or a temperature sensing module (15) or a presence detection module (20), an antenna (17), a processing module (13), a radio frequency module (16) communicatively coupled to the processing module (13), wherein the radio frequency module (16) comprises an output channel connected to the antenna (17), wherein the processing module (13) transmits a signal to a receiving unit (6 - 12) located at a distance from the comfort unit (2 - 5) wherein the sensor module (15; 20) communicatively couples to the processing module (13) and the processing module (13) reads measurement data from the sensor module (15; 20), wherein the processing module (13) processes the measurement data and makes a positive determination or a negative determination based upon the processed measurement data.
