Abstract

Disclosed is a method, system and hearing device for improving sound processing, the hearing device comprises: a processing unit configured to provide a processed output signal for compensating a hearing loss of a user; a microphone connected to the processing unit for converting an audio input signal into a microphone output signal to form an input signal to the processing unit; a receiver connected to the processing unit for converting the processed output signal into an audio output signal; a wireless radio receiver unit connected to the processing unit for receiving information from a wireless network; wherein the processing unit is configured to determine a location of the wireless network based on the information received from the wireless network; wherein the processing unit is configured to establish a sound processing profile based on the determined location of the wireless network; and wherein the processing unit is configured to provide that the processed output signal is processed according to the established sound processing profile.
