Abstract
A pneumatic tire having a radially outer tread (1500) is disclosed. The tread (1500) has one or more circumferential grooves (1510), wherein the bottom, or one or both sides, or the bottom and one or both sides of at least one circumferential groove (1510) are at least partially textured with flat-topped pyramids (1520).
