Abstract
There is provided a head unit including: a first board; a driving module including 600 or more driving elements which are aligned at a density of 300 or more driving elements per one inch, and a second board; and a flexible wiring board which connects the first board and the second board to each other, in which the flexible wiring board includes a first wiring layer, a second wiring layer which opposes the first wiring layer, a first output terminal which is electrically connected to a first end of the driving element, a second output terminal which is electrically connected to a second end of the driving element, a first wiring which is electrically connected to the first output terminal, a second wiring which is electrically connected to the second output terminal, and a through-hole which electrically connects the first wiring layer and the second wiring layer to each other, in which the second wiring is provided on the second wiring layer, and in which the second wiring and the second output terminal are electrically connected to each other via the through-hole.
