Abstract

To provide a separator for a power storage device that exhibits the basic properties required for a conventional separator, but in particular peel strength between the base material and modified layers, as well as excellent battery windability when the separator is wound into a circular cylindrical battery, and in addition, also excellent thermal shock properties and an excellent low-temperature cycle characteristic, and satisfactory balance between the different aspects of its performance. [SOLUTION MEANS] A separator for a power storage device that exhibits excellent performance not only in terms of peel strength between modified layers and the substrate and battery windability but also the thermal shock properties and low-temperature cycle characteristic, compared to a conventional separator, and that also has a satisfactory balance between the different aspects of performance.
