Abstract
A seal assembly for a turbine engine extends along a center axis and includes a seal support (70) and a seal carrier (72) configured to translate relative the seal support (70). A seal (80) is connected to the seal carrier (72) and a spring (74) is disposed between the seal support (70) and the seal carrier (72). A spring carrier (76) is disposed between the spring (74) and the seal support (70). A first end of the spring is connected to the spring carrier (76) and the spring carrier (76) is connected to the seal support (70). The spring (74) includes a second end disposed opposite the first end of the spring. The second end of the spring (74) contacts the annular seal carrier (72).
