Abstract

Disclosed is a method for assisting prediction of the possibility of occurrence of a severe attack of an asthma patient, the method comprising measuring a biomarker in a blood sample of an asthma patient and determining the possibility of occurrence of a severe attack of the asthma patient based on the measured level of the biomarker, in which the biomarker includes IL-17.
