Abstract

An inkjet print head assembly comprises a MEMS-manufactured inkjet chip, a print head base element and a damper element. The MEMS-manufactured inkjet chip is provided with a number of ejection units, each comprising a nozzle and a liquid supply port, wherein the liquid supply ports are arranged in a second chip surface. The print head base element has a liquid supply recess, the inkjet chip being arranged on the print head base element over the liquid supply recess. The second chip surface faces the liquid supply recess such that the liquid supply ports are in fluid communication with the liquid supply recess. The damper element comprising a flexible wall arranged over a closed hollow space and is arranged in the liquid supply recess. The flexible wall faces the liquid supply ports and is arranged at a predetermined damper distance from the second chip surface.
