Abstract

A coil 81 is arranged in a periphery of at least a portion of a cylindrical body 41 at the same side as the other end (upper end) of a sensor element 20 with respect to a protection cover 30 to avoid the protection cover 30 of an assembly 15, the portion of the cylindrical body 41 where the coil 81 is arranged in the periphery is induction heated by applying current to the coil 81, and hence oil adhering to the portion is removed.
