Abstract

The present invention provides an injection molding machine capable of preventing a collision between two molds which move in the same direction. An injection molding machine includes a drive unit which moves a movable mold close to or away from a stationary mold and moves an intermediate mold disposed between the movable mold and the stationary mold close to or away from the stationary mold, a movement processing unit which controls a movement of the movable mold and a movement of the intermediate mold, and a distance monitoring unit which monitors a distance between the movable mold and the intermediate mold when both the movable mold and the intermediate mold are moved in the same direction.
