Abstract

The invention relates to an electric device (1), in particular a rotational or linear motion and/or position measurement device (5), such as a resolver (3), having a housing structure (7) and internal wiring (9), the housing structure (9) comprising a base part (17) having a terminal area (31) for connecting the internal wiring (9) to at least one outside electric conductor (71), and a cover part (39) having a trough section (61) into which the terminal area (31) at least partly extends, wherein the trough section (61) has at least one trough wall (63), which at least in sections abuts the base part (17) to form a sealing surface (67). Solutions of the art have the disadvantage that during and/or after assembly of the cover part (39) to the base part (17) the internal wiring (9) may be touched and/or damaged by the cover part (39). To prevent the internal wiring (9) to be touched or damaged by the cover part (39) during and/or after assembly of the electric device (1), according to the invention, the wiring (9) extends over the trough wall (63) into the trough section (61) to the terminal area (31), and the base part (17) comprises at least one wiring guide element (29) which supports the wiring (9) at a position spaced apart from the sealing surface (67) opposite the trough wall (63).
