Abstract
A system for cooling a motor includes a rotary machine (12) and a cooling flow path (22). The rotary machine (12) includes a motor (16) including a rotor and a stator, a compressor (14) including a compressor rotor (20), and a shaft (18) extending between the motor (16) and the compressor rotor (20). The cooling flow path (22) is configured to deliver cooling air from a cabin of an aircraft to the motor (16).
