Abstract

An electromechanical actuator may include a motor assembly (104) and a ball nut (108). A split ball screw (110) may be disposed between the motor assembly and the ball nut. The split ball screw may have an inner portion (112) and an outer portion (114). The inner portion may interface with the motor assembly. The outer portion may interface with the ball nut. A pin (124) may be configured to engage with the inner portion and the outer portion of the split ball screw to couple the outer portion with the inner portion.
