Abstract

An image capturing apparatus (106) includes an image capturing portion (206), a controller (201, 203) to perform image processing to obtain a feature value from image data, and a storage device (208) to accumulate the image data. In an image capturing period of capturing an image of the target object by the image capturing portion (2060), the controller (201, 203) transmits a result of the image processing to a data management server (112) while accumulating the captured image data the storage device (208), while in an image capturing suspension period of not performing image capturing, the controller (201, 203) transmits the image data accumulated in the storage device (208) to the data management server (112).
