Abstract
The present disclosure is provided to achieve good power efficiency and good controllability in a brake system in which a pump is connected to a plurality of brake cylinders, and electromagnetic valve devices are provided respectively for the brake cylinders. The present brake system includes: a first pressure-increase controller configured to control a pump motor to control hydraulic pressures in the respective brake cylinders; and a second pressure-increase controller configured to control the pump motor based on a greatest one of target hydraulic pressures for the respective brake cylinders and control the electromagnetic valve devices to individually control the hydraulic pressures in the brake cylinders. Control executed by the first pressure-increase controller achieves good power efficiency, and control executed by the second pressure-increase controller achieves good controllability. Since the present brake system includes the first pressure-increase controller and the second pressure-increase controller, it is possible to achieve good power efficiency and good controllability.
