Abstract

In a first aspect, there is a personal air vehicle (10) including a body (12) having a forward portion (14), a central portion (16) and an aft portion (18); a first ducted fan (50) supported by the forward portion (14) of the body (12); a second ducted fan (52) supported by the aft portion (18) of the body (12); and third (60) and fourth (62) ducted fans supported by the left (22) and right (20) sides of the body (12) and pivotable relative to the body (12). An aspect provides a method of flying the personal air vehicle (10).
