Abstract

A navigational information display device (1) is provided, which may include a navigational information acquisition part (21) configured to acquire first navigational information associated with a geographical position, a display part (22) configured to display a navigational image indicated using a geometrical figure related to the first information, and further display at least any of characters comprised of a first navigational information character indicative of the first information, a second navigational information character indicative of a second navigational information, and a device operation character related to operation of the display device (1), an input part (24) into which an instruction signal to instruct a change in a display orientation of the screen is inputted, and an arithmetic logical unit (26) configured to change a display orientation of the character while maintaining a display orientation of the navigational image when the instruction signal is inputted into the input part (24).
