Abstract

A secure hub as a communication security apparatus includes a port that receives a packet from a device and transmits the packet to another device, a storage area that retains address authentication information containing pairs of a physical address and a logical address of one or more devices, and a transfer processing unit that determines whether the pair of the physical address and the logical address of the device and the pair of the other device each match any one of the pairs of the one or more devices when the address authentication information contains the physical address or the logical address of the device and the other device contained in the packet and discards the packet in a case where it is determined that the pair of the device and the pair of the other device do not match any of the pairs of the one or more devices.
