Abstract

A multiband antenna comprising: at least two sub antennas arranged in a plane and each configured to radiate a respective signal is disclosed. A first of the at least two sub antennas comprises an array of radiating elements, a majority of the radiating elements being arranged at different longitudinal positions within a first longitudinally extending region and a second of the at least two sub antennas comprising an array of radiating elements, a majority of the radiating elements being arranged at different longitudinal positions within a second longitudinally extending region. The first and second longitudinally extending regions are transversely offset with respect to each other and at least one radiating element of the first sub antenna is located within a longitudinally extending region comprising at least one radiating element of the second sub antenna.
