Abstract

A charge pump structure (1) with regulated output voltage comprises an output terminal (OUT) to provide the output voltage (Voutmain) and a charge pump (10) to generate the output voltage (Voutmain) as a function of an input supply voltage (Vsup). The charge pump structure (1) further comprises a control circuit (30) to limit a level of the output voltage (Voutmain). The control circuit (30) is configured to generate a control voltage (Voutref), wherein the level of the output voltage (Voutmain) is controlled by the control voltage (Voutref) such that the output voltage (Voutmain) does not exceed a threshold value.
