Abstract
Video frames from a camera such as a front view camera (10) in a vehicle such as a motor car (V) are supplied (12, 16) to video signal handling circuitry (S2) in a mobile communication device (S) as carried or worn by the vehicle driver. The video signal handling circuitry (S2) in the mobile communication device (S) can be activated to produce driver assistance signals (Ai) as a function of video frames from the camera (10i) .
