Abstract
A commodity information reading apparatus (1) includes a first support (25) configured to support a commodity to be read. A wireless tag receiving unit (30) is located at an upper part of the first support, includes an antenna (15) for transmitting and receiving a signal, and is configured to receive first commodity identification information identifying the commodity that responds to the signal transmitted from the antenna, from a wireless tag attached to the commodity moved within a predetermined receivable area provided in the upper part of the first support.
